Senior Internal Auditor

We are currently working with multiple clients on similar opportunities to join well regarded Western New York companies in Internal Audit roles. The Senior Internal Auditor will have responsibility for a number of functions and processes including but not limited to: participating in a support/liaison capacity to the annual external audit process, dealing with Sarbanes Oxley testing and planning, identifying, assessing, and re-evaluating key controls, participating in compliance and operations related audits, helping develop department best practices, special projects as needed, and much more. These positions will have significant exposure to key operations, financial analysis, accounting, regulatory, and legal functions, in addition to visibility to senior management. A successful candidate must have at least three years of public accounting experience, preferably with a big four CPA firm, as well as strong communication and organizational skills. In addition to possessing strong technical abilities, the successful candidate must possess superior organization skills, the ability to prioritize and manage complex projects, and excellent interpersonal skills.
