We are currently working on an excellent opportunity to join a well positioned Western New York public accounting firm. Our client is in the process of trying to uncover potential future partners, and they are open to looking at CPA candidates at a variety of levels. As more experienced partners retire, the successful candidate will have the opportunity to grow into a partnership role in 3-5 years. The Manager/Director/Partner will have responsibility for a number of functions and processes including but not limited to: working with clients to manage their overall tax strategy, leading staff and seniors in the completion of tax, review, compilation, and audit procedures, developing a strong referral network, prospecting, bidding, closing, and servicing new clients, and much more. A successful candidate must have at least four years of public accounting experience, preferably in an environment conducive to gaining blended tax, audit, review, and compilation experience. Partnership level candidates should have strong ties in the small business community, in addition to an established book of business. The ideal candidate at a manager or director level will have aspirations to make partner, and should be an outgoing person who enjoys networking and being involved in the community.
