Senior Project/Financial Analyst

We are currently working on an opportunity to join a well regarded and growing Western New York company in a key analytical role. The Senior Project/Financial Analyst will have responsibility for a number of functions and processes including but not limited to: managing complex operational, operations finance, accounting, systems, etc projects from inception to completion, coordination with a variety of process stakeholders to reduce costs, drive efficiency, improve processes, increase automation, and identify future projects with the direction of the CFO. It is imperative that a successful candidate has significant exposure to systems and ERP implementations/conversion, in addition to a strong accounting and financial underpinning. Knowledge of different systems, expert Microsoft user experience, especially with Excel and Access, will be necessary, as well as a thorough understanding of manufacturing environments, cost buildup, variance analysis, and troubleshooting/problem-solving. Public accounting experience is helpful, but not necessary; although a track record of tackling and successfully completing complex projects will be needed.. In addition to the above, the successful candidate must possess superior organization skills, the ability to prioritize and manage complex projects while adhering to tight deadlines, as well as excellent interpersonal, communication, and time management skills.
