A leading computer software company is looking for a Quality Assurance Manager to join their team. This position will direct and supervise a group of employees who are responsible for software testing, documentation, and demonstration of software modules, systems and programs.
The Essential duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Ø Manage all systems and processes to support the software testing to minimize potential for system failures and bug occurrences.
- Ø Responsible for management of 5-7 QA Specialists.
- Ø Tests, debugs, documents and installs modified and new programs.
- Ø Monitors production programs for expected performance and responds to errors and emergency problems.
- Ø Translates written specifications for new program changes into specific software testing scripts.
- Ø Takes independent action to correct problems encountered during systems operations within authority level granted by IT Manager.
- Ø Establishes required checks and balances for operational controls.
- Ø Produce procedural documentation as required.
