Growing advanced manufacturing company in Buffalo is seeking an innovative Director to run a lean manufacturing group from production and assembly to quality, facilities and supply chain management. Candidates must have a demonstrated background in leading process improvement initiatives, performance management, budgeting, project management and execution as well as training and development. This is a rare opportunity to help this organization implement its strategic growth plan by investing in their vision for the future.
The successful candidate must have a natural desire to work with and mentor people. Additionally, the candidate must have an inquisitive mind, be process improvement driven and have a strong desire to leverage technology and systems to maximize productivity. A background working with popular ERP/MRP systems a must along with ISO9001. BSME/IE required, MBA highly preferred
10-15 years experience in a high volume manufacturing operation ideally in a plant floor automation or assembly/advanced machining setting.
Strong MRP/ERP systems or new manufacturing systems implementation experience.
Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma. Exceptional people management and development skills. Commitment to change and growth through innovation and process improvement
