Sam Russo, CPA | Partner

After graduating from Canisius College, I began my career as a CPA with Ernst & Young.  A passion for understanding interpersonal dynamics, promoting career development, and adding value as a consultant led to a career with SelectOne Search. I consider myself exceptionally lucky to be surrounded by a company full of bright, passionate, ethical people who care about what they do. The relationships I share with our S1Search team and leaders in the business community are the most rewarding part of what we do.

I love life in Buffalo; you can find me listening to classic rock while cycling along Ellicott Creek, volunteering as a member of the Canisius High School Alumni Board of Governors, enjoying a walk at Delaware Park, or dining out in North buffalo with my wife and daughter Gabby. I'm truly passionate about building relationships and channeling my entrepreneurial energy towards adding value to the people and businesses I represent.

I taught myself to play guitar by ear when I was a teenager, and have become a novice cigar and single-malt scotch aficionado.
